Womens Day Luncheon May 5

by admin on March 1st, 2017

The annual Women’s Day Luncheon will be Friday, May 5 at St. Paul’s R.E. Church in Oreland, PA.  The goal of the luncheon, put on by the Committee on Women’s Ministry, is “to raise $10,000 to be used to explore methods of enhancing our Women’s Day Project Luncheons to encourage greater program participation throughout the denomination and yield greater financial offerings to support our annual projects; and to develop cohesion of the work of the Committee on Women’s Ministry across the denomination.”

The featured speaker will be Judy King, retired missionary to Brazil via Wycliffe Bible Translators and the R.E. Board of Foreign Missions.  Judy spent more than 25 years as a Bible translator and church planter among the Apurina Indians of the Amazon.

The Committee is planning to start regional Women’s Day meetings in 2018, making this the last centralized meeting in the Philadelphia area.

Reservations are $25 per person and are due by April 28th.

The letter, bulletin and reservation form are downloadable in PDF format HERE.
