MORE ABOUT HIM

Bishop R. Charles (Chuck) Gillin was born in Philadelphia and raised in Delaware County, PA.  He is a graduate of Susquehanna University and the Reformed Episcopal Seminary.  He served as Rector of Grace Reformed Episcopal Church, Collingdale, PA for 24 years and Interim Rector of St. Mark’s Reformed Episcopal Church, Rydal, PA for one year.  He served as Canon to the Ordinary under two previous bishops.  He was consecrated to the episcopate in 2012 and served the Diocese as Suffragan Bishop until 2019.  At the end of 2019 he was elected as the diocesan Bishop Ordinary.

He and his wife Jan live in Quakertown, PA, and have been blessed with a daughter and son, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law and four grandchildren.
