St. Mark's R.E. Church in Rydal, PA, is hosting a Choral Evensong on Saturday, January 20.
Evensong is a centuries-old Anglican service combining the traditional daily offices of sunset Vespers and nighttime Compline. The choir sings the psalms, canticles, and prayers of the early Church, while hymns unite the congregation in worship and reflection. As the day draws to a close, we ask the Lord to lighten our darkness and let us depart in peace.
